Do I need any extra software ? HELP Run (do not walk) out to your nearest bookstore and purchase: "DNS and Bind" by Paul Albitz and Cricket Liu published by O'Reilly & Associates, Inc. Read the book. Then install bind on your freeBSD box (I think it comes with it out of the box). Configure it. You're done. DNS is sufficiently complicated that it doesn't make sense to get involved with it if you're not going to read the docs and/or the above book.
