(news sys file) Date: 21 Jan 1996 08:44:42 GMT Organization: inJapan Lines: 26 Message-ID: <4dsudq$m2f@gol2.gol.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: 202.243.53.5 Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-2022-jp Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Mailer: Mozilla 1.1N (Macintosh; I; 68K) X-URL: news://news.gol.com/comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.misc Currently my /usr/local/lib/news/sys file contains the following line for deciding which news to send to our local "admin" machine: admin:all,!local,!junk/all:f:/var/news/out.going/admin/togo This works. But if I change it to something like the following: admin:alt.best.of.internet,\ alt.fan.bill-gates,\ misc.entrepreneurs,\ soc.culture.japan:f:/var/news/out.going/admin/togo then nothing at all is sent to admin. I want to change the sys file because I will be drastically increasing our newsgroup feed, but I don't want to change what is sent to "admin". That is why I wanted to list each newsgroup separately. What is the best way to do this? Thanks! Doug Lerner, Tokyo
