Having tried a Mitsumi via a SB-16, I found that you can get it to work
by starting Dos (this will set the software selecable bits) and then
alt-ctl-del boot to FreeBSD and it _should_ see the CD. You may have to
alter the kernel it you have settings other than the defaults.
