The numbers looked : "ok", but not really all that dashing. I'll have to use the sun4u a bit : more before I can really make a judgement, though :-) I had the use of an UltraSPARC for a week. Seems very fast. However, I found Solaris 2.5 to be a little buggy. Sometimes it would hang on simple commands like 'ls'. It logged me out unexpectedly a few times.
