It seems to be a flow control problem, or something of that nature. Traffic travelles in bursts. I have both ends set to 1500, rtscts, in fact all options both ends are the same, yet nothing makes any difference? What is it with theis BSDI ppp. The SCO ppp seems to work ok to other machines, and the BSDI box runs ftp ok to other places it seems. ftp is virtually useless between the SCO nad BSDI box though. DPes anyone have any ideas, or experience in thsi area. thanks, Bob -- The China House Sheng Huo Jiu Shi Dou Zheng robert@chalmers.com.au 上 或 就 是 斗 争
