To be able to boot I have to disable *all* devices exept npx, sc and aha0. I tried with a NCR controller too, but it isn't even found by the BIOS. Sigh. I've tried all possible settings in the setup, and finally found one that recognizes the AHA-1542 so I can access the HD. But I still have to boot "-c" and disable all devices. Anyone familiar with these troubles? I'm loosing my temper on thisone, and the one at work, an AST P60 that although everything looks fine, can't reach out on the net... My box of clues is empty now, so if anybody has a spare one... :-) /Paul. -- Paul Pries paul.pries@abc.se
