I finally got the disk working properly. The trick seems to be finding the total number of sectors on the disk and adding that number to your disktab entry for the disk (su#). At that point, you should be able to fdisk and disklabel this disk. Then you use /dev/MAKEDEV to create the entries for your new partitions, newfs the partitions, and mount them. Overall, I suppose it was a learning experience <grin>, but it sure would be nice to have a painless utility like BSDI's disksetup program to do the dirty work. Maybe some day I'll learn enough C to do that. :-) Thanks again.
