   I just got back from USENIX, where Larry McVoy talked about his lmbench
   results on several platforms, including the UltraSPARC.  The numbers looked
   "ok", but not really all that dashing.  I'll have to use the sun4u a bit
   more before I can really make a judgement, though :-)

You'll have to get a 21164 Alpha box and run NetBSD on it too, Jason.
That way you can tell us all about your experiences. :-)
