I haven't been able to get my Mitsumi CD-ROM working under FreeBSD 2.1
yet, so I thought I'd try using the xcopy commands to copy the bindist
and the floppies over to my DOS partition. Well, somewhere during the
install, gunzip fails with "gunzip failed: crc error" or something like
that, and the pipe to cpio breaks, causing a fail on the install. This
happens during the unpacking of the bin distribution. I tried using
xcopy with /v and it still fails, so I don't think it's a problem with
copy integrity.

I talked w/ Walnut Creek about this, and they said that they've heard of
this problem before, but can't reproduce it anywhere. Anyone have any
ideas?

Please reply via email; I'll follow up if something works.

Thanks,
