Thanks > Well, you give it away in the header.... The Nutshell series as well as darned near anything else published by O'Reilly is worth a look. You will almost certainly have to pick and choose to start your collection (they have an extensive list of titles, and each is a thorough treatment of its subject). For X, volume 3 of their X series is a must, and get the rest as you can afford them. I tried olvwm, and found fvwm much nicer. Also, the various FAQs are great reference. Read as many as you can. If you don't understand the question, ignore it but read it anyway. The answers in some are clues to questions you may have. (And you should also look at things like the comp.sys.sun.admin FAQ, since the various SunOS4 questions are often helpful with any BSD system.) -Zump, playing with knews, which is a nice X newsreader.
