Hmmm, you successfully commented out many of the calls to the X-window
libraries. I would be surprised if your binary works. This suggests
that the path to the X11R[56] libraries is set up correctly.
(Stupid question alert) You do have Xfree86 or Xinside installed?

xfig is in the ports collection. I suggest that you grab either the
pre-compile package or the port itself. Note: you'll also need the latest
version of transfig.
