Although /etc/localtime is a link (or copy) of the correct timezone file
from /usr/share, FreeBSD still reports the incorrect time because as I
understand it fromthe FAQ, it thinks my CMOS time is GMT, when in fact it
is the local time, and so it doesn't adjust for GMT. There is mention of
a timezone hack or kernel parameter but I couldn't find out exactly what
it is. So, how can I convince FreeBSD that my CMOS clock is local time?

Thanks,
Robardo
