Huh? That's the first I've heard of it. I have heard that there are some folks who are working on getting the newest GNU binutils working so that FreeBSD can run ELF binaries, but I doubt highly that FreeBSD will switch to ELF as the native format, since ELF doesn't buy us anything over the current format in the current system, and it makes things a pain in the butt during the switch-over. We've already done a binary format switch-over once from 1.0 -> 1.1, I'd rather not do it again unless we absolutely have to. :) Nate -- nate@sneezy.sri.com | Research Engineer, SRI Intl. - Montana Operations nate@trout.sri.MT.net | Loving life in God's country, the great state of work #: (406) 449-7662 | Montana. home #: (406) 443-7063 | A fly pole and a 4x4 Chevy truck = Heaven on Earth
