I had a 21164, and I did run NetBSD on it, and it was _BLOODY_ fast :-)
In fact, it was the first 21164 machine to run NetBSD, an
AlphaStation 600 5/266.  Unfortunately, it was just a loaner from DEC, so
I don't have it anymore.  I do have another 21164 box (an AlphaServer 8200
with a 300MHz 21164).  Maybe one day...
