Date: 6 Feb 1996 09:41:51 -0600 Organization: /usr/lib/news/organi[sz]ation Lines: 10 Message-ID: <4f7srv$24l@Mercury.mcs.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: mercury.mcs.com I'd like to put together an address-translating router for remote office use that would provide some firewall protection and only need one 'real' IP address for the site. Would the Linux ip_masquerade approach be better than freebsd + proxies or does freebsd have an address translating option too? I'd also like to be able to support whatever LAN happens to be in place at the remote office. Is there a token ring driver for freebsd yet? Les Mikesell les@mcs.com
