I can't get my USR Sportster 28.8 (ttyd1 / cuaa1) internal to accept a login. I'm running getty on the port, and I've tried screwing with every config file (gettytab, ttys, termcap, modems, remote) and setting the internal config using cu. I've got it to answer the phone and print a login prompt. After entering a login I get the Password prompt but then it just hangs... a glance at ps shows that login is still running... Strangely, even though I have sp#57600 and np in the gettytab file, the modem only connects at 2400, and only with even parity... I've tried sttying some of the ioflags to different values but it doesn't seem to change anything... This has been going on for a week now with me banging my head against the wall now... can anybody help? Thanks in advance :) Henry Stapp
