Date: 4 Feb 1996 16:29:29 GMT Organization: interQuest Online Services -- Huntsville, AL Lines: 12 Distribution: world Message-ID: <4f2mt9$fe4@polo.iquest.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: vespucci.iquest.com Summary: How can I fix a corrupt MBR on a 2.0R system? Keywords: filesystem, 2.0R, MBR, disk X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] I've got a 2.0R system with a corrupted MBR. I can boot into single-user mode and see that the file system is still intact, but when going to multi-user mode it complains about the missing MBR then panics. Is there any simple way to attempt to repair it in-place? -- Dougal Campbell | "Quick to judge, quick to anger. | Rush System Administrator | Slow to understand. | "Witch Hunt" interQuest / Hsv, AL | Ignorance and predjudice | Moving Pictures dougal@iquest.com | And fear go hand in hand." | 1981
