How to? Date: 12 Feb 1996 23:15:53 +0100 Organization: Svensk Amat|rAstronomisk F|rening Lines: 19 Message-ID: <4foe6p$20t@electra.saaf.se> NNTP-Posting-Host: electra.saaf.se I installed FreeBSD 2.1 with the "experimental" EIDE/CD-rom boot floppy. All went well! Now when I boot the CD-rom support don't seem to be in the kernel. 1) Can i in some way use the kernel from the EIDE/CD-rom boot disk? 2) What shall I do to rebuild the kernel with support for EIDE/CD-rom support? I actualy dont need CD-rom support all the time. I just need to install some extra packages from the CD... (so if it is possible to use the kernel from the floppy - that should be a quick nice solution for me). gh@raditex.se
