I have a #9 Vision 330 (A 2mb DRAM Trio64 based video card). On the setting up of X, everything works fine. Only problem is: It is using a virtual screen size of 1280x1024, but only using a real screensize of about 640x400(?), with the mouse panning around within it. How do I convince X to use a real screensize of 1280x1024 or 1024x768, and 8 or 16 bit color? (Using the S3 optimized X server, of course). Also, although it installed just fine from my IDE CD, what magic do I need to perform to get it to mount the CD drive? (The default install for IDE doesn't appear to include the proper IDE CDrom drivers). And what are the commands for manipulating floppies (both MessyDOS and *NIX)? Thanks. -- Nicholas C.
