I've been attempting to move our news server to a newer machine
running FreeBSD 2.1.0 RELEASE by backing up the \var\spool\news
directory to DAT and restoring on the new machine. I get the
following errors part way through the restore:

Feb 4 14:27:38 news1 /kernel: uid 0 on /var: out of inodes
Feb 4 14:28:09 news1 last message repeated 6041 times

So, the question is, how do I change the number of inodes when
I set up a new filesystem (I chose 'novice' installation)?
Unix System Administration mentions that news servers
need lots of inodes - and refers the reader to Chap. 24 where
nothing more is said about inodes. Help!
