To do this I need detailed specs of the tape format. I know these are written on the tape itself, but the FreeBSD driver is too lame to read them from there. The information I need is: Number of segments per track, Number of blocks per track, Number of Floppy disk tracks, Number of Floppy disk sectors/side. The drive takes a 400 ft. tape purporting to hold 675MB uncompressed, and I already know it has 40 tracks, but the rest I don't know . . .. Thanks for any help, ht -- Henry S.
