I'm surprised someone else hasn't given these numbers:

About $3 for each after that.

A 'One off' costs $200-500.

A one off writer costs $5500, blanks cost $25+ (Kodak (Picture CD) can
do it much cheaper, but they won't license the technology except to
special people like MCI for bills).

A complete mastering system costs $20000+ (Plus I assume you have to
get them pressed at some place big, don't know.).

I may be interested in making a CD eventually, especially for a local
and/or remote X-windows setup!

And yes, I will sell it at a (reasonable) profit.
