First off, the gz version used to zip X doesn't work with the 1.0 installer but after an unzip using MacGZ, I get a nice 28 meg tar file. Subsequently trying to untar this baby works until a particular file is encountered and then the installer crashes with an error 11. BSD does something similar by puking into the debugger. However, it seems that the tar file is sort of OK since I can extract it on another machine running OSF and SunTAR on the mac doesn't seem to mind it. What's going on? P.S. is there a more stable version of the kernal for an EZ135? I'm currently using netbsd.please.test.me from Puma. Thanks. -- ______________________________________________________________________________ Michael Zucca <> mrz5149@rit.cs.rit.edu <> Rochester Institute Of Technology "If the speed of light is not infinite, then it's awful damned fast." - Galileo -
