Hi, I'm also working with a Diamond Stealth64. When I wanted to install XFree my system kept on crashing. I've put the stdio of startx to a file and all seems to be OK untill startx starts to build up his screen. No error messages are shown , just a black screen and restart after a few secs. Tnx, Bert
