Berkeley Lines: 15 Distribution: world Message-ID: <4fip82$fq8@agate.berkeley.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: cogsci.berkeley.edu Originator: robinson@COGSCI.Berkeley.EDU I'm running 2.0.5 on a Toshiba T2130CS with the PS/2 mouse driver for the Accupoint pointer. Under XFree86, ButtonPress events (as reflected by xev) are not generated when the buttom is actually pressed. They are generated when the button is released (along with the ButtonRelease event), or if pointer input causes a motion event. Key press and release events function normally. Does anyone have any ideas/experience on what the problem might be? It is rather annoying, because it appears to be responsible for breaking all kinds of widgets and menus, etc.
