My monitor has a simular problem all the time. If i load up X-windows (with
linux) in 1024x768 it jumps 1/4 of the inch over (and requires manual
adjustments of the nobs on the front), I have the same problem if i put
win95 in 1024x768, or if i put OS/2 in 1024x768. So i've noticed this same
bug in 3 operating sytems. Either each time i'm using some setting wrong, or
my Video Card or Monitor has something odd about it like both of you have
mentioned... If anyone has a simular problem and just happens to know what
*EXACTLY* is causing it please post someting about it or email me :) I'm
planning to go from linux to freebsd soon but to me X is X (isn't it?).
