This was in reference to the text which you omitted.

You have taken the statement out of context.


With regard to the context;

Feel free to "prove" unordered writes are superior to ordered
writes in terms of maintaining file system consistency.  I'm
more than willing to entertain any argument you might have in
favor of returning saying you've written the data when you have
not in fact written the data... and how this can make a file
system more reliable.
