Heres my question... Whilst installing BSDI I selected custom install (since express install would automatically use /dev/hda) and erase all data there. During the install process I indicated that BSDI should ONLY be installed on /dev/hdb and /dev/hda would should not be touched. The install went smoothly. I am using Linux's LILO as a boot manager (which I configured appropriately to boot BSDI of off /dev/hdb). When I select that get a prompt "no bsd label" highlighted in blue and a hung computer During the custom install I had explicitly indicated that the boot blocks would be installed as "wd" [which was also the default] as opposed to other options as BIOS, fd etc. Do you think that the boot blocks have somehow been installed on /dev/hda and not /dev/hdb since I am getting the above message ?? If so how can I force them to be installed on /dev/hdb (wd1) as opposed /dev/hda (wd0) ?? If not any reason why am I getting the above message ("no bsd label") whn I try to boot up directly from /dev/hdb ?? Thanx Juzer
