I'm using the 2940 on a P75 PCI system right now and it seems ok so far.  Mind 
you I haven't tried running a news server with this yet, so I won't be able to 
tell you right now how reliable it is.  It is definitely faster than the 1542CF 
that we've been using for a year.  I'll keep you posted.
