I'm having a problem getting my dynamically assigned ip address to resolve over to my hostname. Is there a way to get this to work or should i try kernel PPP with my dynamic IP? I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can offer...It seems like there must be a string i can put in place of an assigned ip address in /etc/hosts. Currently all i have in there is 127.0.0.1 localhost and IFCONFIG goes nuts. Christopher
