I posted an announcement of this to the freebsd annouce mailing list, but I just thought I might point it out again here just in case somebody missed it. I ported two drivers, one for the pcmcia card, and one for the ISA wavelan card to freebsd. They can be obtained in the directory ftp://zymurgy.cs.pdx.edu/pub/mobility in the file wavelan.freebsd.tar.gz some details: The drivers are ports of drivers originally written by Anders Klements for Mach, and worked on many other folks. Their last stop before freebsd was bsdi. I ported them to 2.1R and got promiscuous mode working. The pcmcia driver is exactly like David Greenman's if_ze.c driver in the way that it just fires up the pcmcia bus and does no more than that. Multicast seems to exist but I haven't turned it on or played with it. I am using the drivers and they are working fine so far. regards, Jim Binkley jrb@cs.pdx.edu
