I installed a FBSD 2.1 on a very slow 386SX16 4MB. As I have 4 ethernet cards, I decided to display FBSD windows on my Linux machine by one ethernet cable, and to use the second cable for NFS mounting. The first time I rapidly used that (starting from FBSD), it was working fine, but the second time, one of the two links seemed to be broken (I was pinging from Linux). In fact, and roughly, pinging from Linux wasn't working, and when I tried from FBSD, a couple of times, it began to work again. If I let both machines not working for a while, the problem appears again... Has anybody ever experienced such a trouble ? ---------------------------------------------- vigot@worldnet.net vigot@ditv-philips.fr oberle@ldg.bruyeres.cea.fr http://www.worldnet.net/~vigot ----------------------------------------------
