U have a problem with DTE speed ! Try to change parametrs in ttys to std.57600 or even std.115200 ! By the way what kind of modem do u have internal or external ? If external one you need to have a special COM port with UART 16550, othevise u have only 19200 betwen your modem and computer :( Mike
