X-Newsreader: CrossPoint v3.1 R/C6513 Organization: Toppoint Mailbox e.V. Reply-To: chrimek@toppoint.de Lines: 19 Hello Who can explain to me some of the filesystems, and which of them should I define the kernel to know and support? Currently I use ffs, nfs, msdosfs (for the floppies) and cd9660. There are other fs that I would like to know more about, these are the PROCFS, the KERNFS and the FDESC. What are the advantages and drawbacks of these three filesystems ? What do I need the FDESC for, does the kernel absolutely need the KERNFS, under which circumstances should I use the PROCFS ? -cr -- Christoph Rimek, Kiel, Germany (+49 431 57601) chrimek@toppoint.de
