I'd like to change it to 002 (which among other things is the most common) without having the users every time have to change it. I couldn't find any configuration file or switch that would allow an administrator to change the default umask, so I'm wondering if it can be done or it's hard-wired at compile time. Many thanks in advance. Feel free to reply on the Net or to me directly at rmay@cati.csufresno.edu. -Robert May
