I have previously installed NetBSD1.0 and 1.1 on two different machines, so it is not lack of installation knowledge. It seems that I am unable to 'newfs' the disk. It claims write errors. However, I have successfully run 'dd' to copy some information to the disk. At this point, I am at a loss. It has been suggested that the BIOS may be the problem, but that is not it, as the BIOS is pretty new. The only other suggestion I got was that possibly the disk was too fast. I don't know how much credit to give to this. my relevant system specs are as follows 486DX4/100 16 Meg of ram Adaptec 1522A SCSII controller Thanks in adavance for any help you can give -- | __ __ __ __ __ | | Michael J.
