Yes. I'm running X on a 5000/200 with PMAG-BA (aka cx, aka cfb) graphics.

I've run X under NetBSD/pmax on both color & mono 2100 & 3100 boxes &
on a color 5000/25 with the built in graphics card.  I think that the
X server will work under the PMAGB-BA (aka hx aka sfb) frame buffer,
but I'm not 100% certain.  I know that the nicer, accelerated cards
are not supported.
