I already export a couple of other file systems from this machine with no problems. What I have is that I cannot export it as a filesystem, because I am not mounting the CD untill after the NFS daemons have started, so the directory specified in /etc/exports is nothing but a mount point. If I export a filesystem and then mount the CD on a directory within that filesystem, nothing is seen by the pc's. Do I need to wake up the nfs daemons? Thanks in advance. ---------------------------------------------------------- Steve Gailey steveg@metrosol.demon.co.uk Metronome Solutions Ltd.
