I've been getting all sorts of weird problems on my FreeBSD 2.1 machine. It's
running Wu-FTPD 2.4 and after 30 or so simultaneous users, the server chokes
because it says that the "kernel: file: table is full". Everything else
starts to fall apart after that: shells won't work, commands won't run.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? How would I fix something like this?

Any help appreciated. All flames ignored.
