Has anyone : else been able to successfully install FreeBSD on such a beast ? Well, I've even got it running on a Gateway 486sx/25. The only tinkering it needed was with the X video configuration (minor tweaking to move the graphics left on the screen) and the CD-ROM driver for the Sony CDU-31A has a few annoyances (nothing serious. Just don't ever forget to umount the CD-ROM before you hit the eject button -- otherwise you'll need to reboot before you can use your CD-ROM drive). -- John Goerzen, programmer and owner | Use #12 for your Win95 CD: a good | Communications Centre, Goessel, KS | excuse for getting that 16MB SIMM | Main e-mail: jgoerzen@complete.org | #13: A good bookmark for large books|
