While the Ethernet part of the AMD Combo-Chip
(the 79c974 is the SCSI+Ethernet Combo, right ?)
works with the lnc0 driver in FreeBSD, there
currently is no support for the SCSI function.

If I remember correctly, that chip is in some
way related to the NCR 53c80 (for which a driver
exists), but I may be way off ...

Since it appears none of the developers has
such a device, there most likely won't be a
driver for it.

Just get yourself a cheap NCR PCI SCSI card ($60)
and you'll have a much higher performance solution
than the AMD could ever be (for technical reasons:
the AMD is a rather dumb controller, which causes
lots of CPU interrupts, compared to the NCR or an
Adaptec or BusLogic).
