How does one install the FreeBSD Boot Manager on a floppy ? I.e. how
can I boot from the floppy ?

I installed Free BSD on my third SCSI hard-disk (/dev/sd2) as the 4th
partition. I also wrote the BSD boot manager to the third hard-disk
MBR,( something I regret because it seems to have trashed a SCO ODT
partition that I had on there. My SCO system can no longer read that
partition. The divvy table seems to have been corrupted and I can't
figure out how to restore it).

However, I can't boot from the third hard-disk using the suggested
syntax hd(2,a)/kernel (I also tried hd(2,b) , upto hd(2,d).
Can someone help me here ?

ALso is it possible to use the Linux loader (LILO) to boot FREEBSD of
the third (or any) hard-disk ?

THanks for your help,

Suresh.
