Hi, I configured a PS2 mouse in Xsetup and I've compiled it in the
kernel and it comes up as psm at boot time on irq 12
correctly. However, when I start Xaccel is fails saying cannot open
   mouse/tablet.

I had this happen. The problem was that Xsetup thinks PS2 mice are
/dev/pms0 instead of /dev/psm0. Make the change in the form field,
and you may win.

It's such a small transposition, your eye skips right over it.
