So do I. For completeness, you should probably state what the job is. You and I might know that the job for WC is to ftp serve an awful lot of people as efficiently as possible, and (presumably?) that's what you want to do, but the listening public doesn't necessarily know. (If WC was using windows NT to do ftp serving, it might also be the best operating system for you, but it's good to figure out your needs before saying (and this applies for Linux as well as FreeBSD) "so-and-so uses X, so it must be the best for me." so you don't end up me-tooing into a system that may not best serve your needs.) ____ david parsons \bi/ Followups directed appropriately. \/
