Thanks for the advice - one question though - I seem to recall 
something about not putting a CD and a HDD on the same IDE 
controller as this slows down the disc (possibly because ide 
only allows a single outstanding request and disc requests 
are queued behind (slow) cd requests ???) - can anyone confirm
this whether is this true or still a limitation with EIDE ?
