That it claims to be "ISA" would _Imply_ that it is a 15xx host adaptor. There are a number of such things that Adaptec has made that have No Boot Rom on them. (Read that as I ALMOST spent money on one). You MUST have the ROM for the ROM_BIOS to find the Host Adapotor and to transfer the loading sequence to it... and then to find the boot_sector code. This assumes, of course, that you have turned OFF any reference to a MFM/RLL/IDE drive in the CMOS configuration utility of your machine.
