I'm running smail-3.1.28 on the 950210-SNAP of 2.1 (yeah, it's old - I'll
upgrade sometime ...).  It works great.  Porting was non-trivial, though;
there was lots of stuff that needed fixing, mostly due to incompatibilities
in some of the Bourne shell scripts.

I have patches - send e-mail if you want them.
