I have a 5000/133 running both Ultrix and NetBSD. I have 5 hard drives, 2 rz25, 1 rz26 and 2 quantums. I can boot either Ultrix or NetBSD on my machine. The only problem is, the SCSI driver currently in use on NetBSD/pmax is kind of particular about the quality of the SCSI chain. I can't get NetBSD to boot w/o scsi errors if I have the external drive box connected. So, to boot NetBSD, I must disconnect the external drives. It's kind of a pain in the butt, but I'm not lookin a gift horse in the mouth. Perhaps in the future it will be remedied. -- -- Ed Jones EJONES16@ford.com CAD/CAM/PIM ejones16@cadcam.pd9.ford.com 313-845-6068 B220 Suite 100 ALPHA
