I'd like to run the Linux version of netscape because the BSD version
doesn't support Java. This works fine except that it doesn't like the
format of the /etc/hosts.conf file. Is there a workaround for this?

(I suppose one could create a complete chroot()ed Linux environment
with union-mouted filesystems, but that seems a little excessive.)
