Has anybody got any hints for installing on a Cubix box. I have a Cubix box with a
486/66 and 500M hard disk that will make a nice ppp server. Only, it is having a
problem seeing the installed (imbedded) etherneet controller. It says that it acan
find it, as lnc1, but tthen it does not initialize it correcttly. I can ping the
address I set for the card, but local host does not respond. It sees nothing out
and nothing can ping it either.
According to the doc's, it has known problems, but it does not say what the
problems are. I was wondering if any body knows what they are. I will post a
specific question abou this controller also.
What I am looking for here, is anyfeed back on the use of a Cubix box as a FreeBSD
server..
TIA.
